The Kids in the Hall tour day 1 Merrillville IN April 4, 2008.

I thought the show was great, and that it was great that I got to see the very first show of the tour. The place wasn't very full so Im sure that affected the guys a bit, but even though the place wasn't as full as it could have the response was great.

Ok, so after the show, we stood in the Lobby for a bit trying to get a feel for what others were doing, and see if we could find out where or if they were going to meet and greet. Non of us were feeling too much like asking anyone so we decieded to just go out and find the bus. So as we were walking around the building my friend Tony saw that some of the guys were inside. But when we tried the door it was locked! So we walked around to another door and Tony saw someone so he decieded to knock on the window. The lady was nice enough to let us back in. We get to where they are signing things, and as soon as I see Dave I freeze. Like I always do. You would think I would be used to going up to them, but I am not and I don't think I ever will be. So we stood there waiting to talk to Dave, and I encourage my friend Marie to talk to him. Yeah, i know what you are thinking...."why didn't you talk to him?!" Cause im a chicken shit. So we stand there all nerves, and Marie has her moment with Dave. I won't go into it cause if she wants to tell the story I will leave it up to her. :) So yeah, all I do is get my ticket stub signed, and my friend Ashley takes a picture of Me, Marie and Tony with Dave. At some point this drunk guy was annoying Ashley and he was asking her if she wanted to take a picture with Dave. And she said, "No its ok." This guy didn't realize that Ashley only saw the show a few times and she barely knows who these guys are. But, he got Daves attention, and asked him if he would take a pic w/ Ashley. So I took a pic of them. Anyway so I think they were all in the lobby at one point but I think when we got there it was just Dave, Mark, and Scott. I really wanted Mark to sign my pic that Jamie took at the Steve Allen Theatre, but by the time the fans were done, the guys had to leave. This lady was saying that they had to go. So as Mark was about to leave my friend Ashley yelled, "Mark, can you sign this for my friend please!" Then he ran back up the stairs and said, "Yes, cause I doubt we will be asked back here." Don't know what he ment by that. So, he Takes my pic to sign is about to sign it in the black sharpie that he had, then he asks, "Wait...Do you have a silver sharpie" So I hand him the silver sharpie, and he signs it, I tell him thanks. Then as he was about to leave this lady deciedes that she wants to crush his head, and all I hear from Mark is a groan! Yeah, im sure hes sick of hearing it. My friend Ashley while we were waiting to talk to Dave just walked around and took random pics of the guys. She got some really good shots.

Im really glad that we had the Milwaukee show after this one, cause I never got to thank them for coming to see me for once, lol. So we had a second chance to talk to them the next night. But not all of them, I still have yet to talk to my Bruce! ;)

So I haven't really had too much to write so I have been neglecting this thing.

My birthday is thursday, and Ashley and a few friends form work threw me a little b-day party at the bowling alley, it was alot of fun. Ashley really wanted to surprise me but a few things happened before, and she was forced to at least tell me that she had something planned for me. She has been planning this for a long time I guess. I have never had anyone do anything so nice for me for my birthday. I felt so unworthy! Considering her Birthday is on Friday the day after mine, and I won't be here to do anything for her. I will have to think of something.

So, Thursday Marie and I are going to pick up Trie in Michigan, and going to Toronto to meet MB, and Jess for the Kevin Hearn and Thin Buckle concert. Im so excited! We are staying at a Bed and Breakfast near Queen Street West. Its gonna be nice to just hang with the girls. And my birthday is on thursday so it like Im actually going to Toronto for my birthday. Im actually doing something cool for my birthday! I think I might have a few drinks, or maybe drink myself retarded, lol! Sorry a little joke between me and Marie. ;)

Ok, so im off to Raleigh, NC for a lovely visit with Nancy! Have a great weekend everyone! That is all.

I know that back when I went to see Bruces show, I said that I would write about it, and I didn't. I promise I won't do that with the kith shows! I will write something, in fact Im in the process right now. Im just having a bit of writers block, and Im having problems describing these sketches. And haveing to work in between time isn't really helping either. I hope for the people who actually want to read this, that you will bare with me. Please be patient, I promise to have it up asap. So, I got back last night, and well everything was going well until I ran into this huge piece of something in the road! The truck in front of me put on its brakes, so I did to and all of a sudden it just flew at me. I have no clue what it was. So I drove for a bit more, and I heard a clunking noise, so I pulled off at the nearest exit off ramp. I looked at the drivers side tires, nothing, then the front passenger side, nothing, then I noticed that the rear passenger side tire was flat. Not just flat, a whole ripped in it. So I calmly put my flashers on pop my trunk and procede to find the Jack and spare tire. I figure out how to do the Jack, but not how to actually get the tire off. So I call my mom and whine to her about it, and she has my dad come out, cause she tells him where I am, and since he drives that way every day, he knows exactly where I am. So, I keep trying to get the tire off, and this guy stops, and asks if I need help. So I take him up on his offer, and he procedes to take off my flat and put my spare on. Yeah, I realize I got lucky. So after a bit a hoosier helper arrives, and asks me if Im ok. I tell him someone was nice enough to help me, and thats when my dad arrives. So, yeah fun was not had last night.

I promise I will tell you all about my trip to LA when I get some time. I have to work till 10pm tonight, and I have no clue what my schedule is like for the rest of the week. So I promise I will get to it asap!

Yeah, so I haven't really had much to say lately. Um for New Year I went to Maries and Hung with her family played Games and drank. We played Trivial Pursuit Totally 80's, and I really sucked at most of the questions...unless it had to do with mid 80's tv. It was fun though, I didn't get nearly as drunk as I wanted too, due to my major headache, and sinuses acting all wonky.

Last year had its ups and way downs, and I really hope I have more ups this year. Hope you all have a great year!
